Visitor Assistant

Pertemps are recruiting for a number of Visitor Assistants on a temporary basis. 

Role – Visitor Assistant
Location – Edinburgh City Centre (EH1 area)
Days of work – Monday to Sunday, working on a rota 
Hours of work – Part time and full time available, between the hours of 8am – 6pm 
Start date – as soon as possible 
Duration – Until the end of September 2026
Pay rate - £14.27 per hour 

As a Retail Assistant, you will be:

• Providing excellent customer service 
• Meeting and greeting visitors upon arrival 
• Selling and checking tickets for admission to visitor attractions 
• Leading tours as required 
• Assisting with events at the venue 
• Answering visitor inquiries 
• Assisting in the gift shop as required 
• Any other tasks as required 

Please note that this role can involve climbing stairs and outdoor working in all weathers.
